A CURS poll shows a margin of 9 percentages between the National Union SDP (the Social Democratic Party) + HPR (the Humanist Party in Romania) and the J.T. (Justice and Truth) Alliance.

GOVERNMENT. For the question: "Which of the following two governing periods has been better for Romania?", 57% of the interviewed ones referred to the present government of SDP, while only 14% appreciated that the former DCR (the Democratic Convention in Romania) - DP - DUHR has been better. 29% answered they did not know or did not answer to this question.
INTEGRATION. For the political alliance or party most prepared to insure Romaniaâs adherence to EU, 38% opted for the National Union SDP+HPR, 25% opted for the J.T. NLP - DP Alliance, 3% indicated GRP, 3% another party, while the undecided or the non-answerers gathered 31%.
NIOMARA
An NIOMARA (the National Institute for Opinion and Marketing Analysis)poll made public last week shows that if next Sunday there would be general elections, the National union SDP+HPR would have 36% of the voting intentions. For the J.T. NLP - DP Alliance there would vote 31% of the questioned ones, while 9% would vote for HPR and 5% with DUHR.
The poll has been realized between 22nd and 25th of September 2004, questioning 1,114 persons, and the maximum admitted error for the obtained results is 3%.
